Greg Nortje
Group Head of Human Resources,

Greg Nortje joined Ferrexpo in January 2014 as Group Head of Human Resources. He serves as a member of the Group’s Executive Committee and holds accountability for setting and facilitating the execution of Ferrexpo’s world-wide people strategy.

Greg’s career spans more than 25 years, working predominantly in the mining sector, where has gained experience and knowledge of best practice HR with large international blue chip organisations such as BHP Billiton, Anglo American and HSBC. He has held a variety of positions ranging from operational HR generalist roles through to specialist project leadership roles focused on transformational change and people improvement across multiple geographies such as South Africa, the UK, Australia and South America. Immediately prior to joining Ferrexpo, Greg ran his own HR consultancy providing change management and project leadership services to a variety of clients throughout the UK.

Greg is passionate about organisational culture change, talent management, employee engagement, leadership development and enabling HR functional excellence.He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a post graduate Diploma in Education from the University of the Witwatersrand, together with advanced management qualifications from the University of Stellenbosch and the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

Gökhan Denizhan
Retail Human Resources Director

Gökhan Denizhan born in 1972 in Mersin graduated from Hacettepe University Department of Philosophy in the capacity of a top student in 1996; in addition to Philosophy major, he obtained certificates from departments of Sociology, Psychology and Training.

Gökhan Denizhan specialized in the fields of setting up human resources systems based on competence, training and corporate development, process management and leadership programs in banking, durable consumption, telecommunication and retail sectors.

He started his career in Grand National Assembly of Turkey as consultant, then in 1998-2000, Gökhan worked as senior specialist in the Training section of Human Resources Department in İktisat Bank.
Between 2000 to 2008, Gökhan Denizhan worked as a manager in the Department of Human Resources, responsible for Training and Development, Compensation & Benefits and Recruitment in BSH (Bosch and Siemens Home appliances).

In 2008-2010, Gökhan worked as Assistant General Manager, responsible for Business Support functions in Turkcell’s GSM operator in Northern Cyprus.
Between 2010-2011 Gökhan Denizhan continued his career as senior consultant and the leader of the Management Sciences & Leadership School in UFUKKOÇ Strategy and Skills Development Company.

In 2011-2014, Gökhan worked for KVK as Human Resources Director.

Since 2014, Gökhan Denizhan is working for LC Waikiki as Retail Human Resources Director who is responsible for MENA, CEE, CIS, Russia Regions including Turkey.
Apart from main responsibilities in different corporations during these years; Gökhan Denizhan had delivered management trainings, carries out mentoring, moderating, coaching sections and presents key note speeches within and out of the companies.

Andre De Wit
Vice President Learning, Carlsberg Group, Copenhagen, Denmark

Andre De Wit has the experience in retail on the operational side as CEO of country organizations (IKEAIberica and Metro Cash & Carry Croatia), as well as on the strategic side as Groups Director Learning (Metro Group) and Vice President Learning and Capability development (Carlsberg Group). In all Andre’ assignments over the last 15 year development of the factor Human Resources has been crucial.

In the assignments Andre has worked in companies which were in different life stages:
• Within IKEA Iberica the organization was mainly focused on expansion and facilitating the fast growth
• Metro Cash & Carry Croatia had to deal with a shrinking market as a consequence of economic recession and had to explore new market opportunities
• Metro A.G. and Carlsberg are facing the need for a cultural transformation in which a more open-learning-strategy plays a crucial role
Since August, 2015 Andre has occupied the position of Vice President Learning at Carlsberg Group (Denmark). He is responsible for the set up of the department Competency building and Learning for the Carlsberg group. In this department a team of functional experts is working together to build up learning curricula for the different areas (Marketing, Sales, Supply chain and Leadership) based on input from different stakeholders of the organization. Starting point for these curricula are the existing best practices in Carlsberg.
The purpose of this position is to make Learning a measurable and sustainable contributor to the success of Carlsberg.
Since November 2011 till August 2015 Andre worked as a Group Director Learning Metro A.G.
He was responsible for worldwide Learning department reporting to the board of Metro A.G.

Tamas Hak-Kovacs
Chairman of the Board

Mr. Hak-Kovacs was born in 1970 in the industrial city of Mischkolts, Hungary. In 1995 he graduated from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, MA in Finance and Accounting. He got the second education at the University of Saarland, Saarbrücken, Germany, majoring in "Finance and Credit." In addition, he studied for a degree "Corporate Finance" at the University of Vienna, Austria. In 2004 he studied in the CFA Institute, Charlottesville, USA, and in 2010-2011 he studied at IMD (International Institute for Management Development), Lausanne, Switzerland.

In the final year of basic education, Mr. Hak-Kovacs combined work with his study. After graduation ha has been working for half a year as an assistant to the CFO for an insurance company Providencia Insurance Plc. The next four years he served as CEO of the manufacturing company, then received an invitation from Commerzbank. Since then, he has been working for 12 years in banking business: 2000-2007 - Acting Chairman and CEO of Commerzbank subsidiary in Hungary, from July 2007 led by Commerzbank subsidiary in Moscow and from May 2010 headed a division of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Commerzbank. While working in Russia, Mr. Hak-Kovacs has established itself as an effective crisis manager, who managed to find the right solutions for the further development of financial institutions. Since March 2012 has been working in JSC "OTP Bank", Ukraine.

Married. Has three daughters (15 years 11 years and 1.5 years).

Andrew Favorov
Director, Managing Partner, ENERGY RESOURCES OF UKRAINE

Andrew Favorov was born on 29th of November, 1975.
In 1999 he had graduated from the State University of Georgia (USA) with a Bachelor of Science degree, in 2005 had earned an MBA degree from the Georgetown University (USA).

In 1998-2003 worked in Atlanta (Georgia, USA) focusing on project management (IBM Global Services, Ford and Harrison LLP, Eclipsys Corporation).

From 2005 to 2009 served as Business Development Director of AES, international energy corporation, in Kazakhstan, Russia, Great Britain, Turkey and Africa.
In 2009-2010 worked in international company Contour Global, where he was in charge of business development in Europe and CIS.

From November 2010 had served as Director of DTEK Power Trade, where he was responsible for the development of electricity export to Europe, Belarus and Moldova.

From January 2012 to June 2014 served as DTEK Commercial Director, where he established a complete business function of the vertically integrated utility and implemented the best practices of trading in the country. During his work at the company, Andrew had performed the first reversing supplies of natural gas from Hungary and Poland to Ukraine.
Since the July 2014 Andrew Favorov is the Director and Partner of ENERGY

specializes in development of energy projects in Ukraine. The company combines over 30 years of international energy development and management expertise with in-depth understanding of local market. Company’s objective is to bring best international practices to trading and energy investments in Ukraine.

Yuri Kurmaz
Director of Ukrtelecom PJSC 

Top manager with more than 18 years of experience in telecommunications, Yuri Kurmaz joined Ukrtelecom in February 2014 as director. In this position, Yuri has been supervising operating activities of the company. As early as in December 2014, in connection with the completion of formation of the national operator’s new administrative structure, the shareholders decided to delegate the functions of the Chairman of the company to Yuri Kurmaz, its director. From this moment, Yuri has been responsible for both operating activities and implementation of strategic directions of the company's development.

Before joining Ukrtelecom in 2004-2014, Mr. Kurmaz worked in senior positions at Astelit LLC (TM life :)) where he was managing relations with subscribers and, later on, corporate relations. Under his leadership, the newly created telecom operator has introduced a subscriber service system, which afterwards was highly appreciated by customers and received prestigious international awards. In the sphere of corporate relations management, Yuri was responsible for strengthening relations with public and regulatory bodies, managing juridical and legal aspects of the company's activities, strengthening the function of corporate strategy development, planning and regularly reviewing key indicators of the operator.

Previously, Yuri had worked as a Deputy Director General and, later on, as a Director General of Ukrainian Radio Systems CJSC (Wellcom).

In 1984, Yuri graduated from the Kiev Higher Military Aviation Engineering School trained as an Engineer-Mathematician. Mr. Kurmaz has a PhD in Technical Sciences in the specialty Cybernetics, System Analysis, Operations Research and Complex Systems Modeling. In 1994, Yuri completed training in Marketing Management at the Kyiv Institute of Trade and Economics.

Yuri Kurmaz is married, has a daughter.

Oleg Prokhorenko
CEO and Chairman of the Board of «UkrGasVydobuvannya»

Oleg Prokhorenko is CEO and Chairman of the Board of UkrGasVydobuvannya (UGV) since June 2015. UGV is Ukraine’s largest natural gas producer, with ~15 bcm pa of production (~75% of Ukraine’s total), and one of the largest companies in Ukraine.

Prior to UGV, Oleg Prokhorenko spent almost 8 years as associate principal, engagement manager and consultant with McKinsey & Company in Kiev, Ukraine and Dubai, OAE.

At McKinsey Oleg worked with largest private companies and significant state institutions in oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining, and public sector on strategy development, operational improvement, and organization restructuring.

Oleg Prokhorenko holds Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government (with honors) from Dartmouth College.

Yevgeny Shevchenko
Director General of Carlsberg Ukraine

Evgeny Shevchenko was born on April 9, 1976 in the city of Nizhny Tagil, Russia
He graduated from the Ural State University of Economic, the Faculty of Management and International Economic Relations, majoring in World Economy.

He started his career in 1996 in the field of marketing and sales.
In 2000, he was appointed Director of the Ural Branch of Lebedyansky OJSC.
In 2002, he began his career in Carlsberg Group as a Sales Director at Zolotoy Ural plant (now a branch of Baltika-Chelyabinsk).

In 2004, he was appointed Regional Business Manager of Vienna OJSC in the North-West region after the merger of Vienna and Golden Ural.

In 2006, he became the head of the company Aldaris (Latvia) forming part of the Carlsberg Group.
In 2008, he took the position of Director General of Carlsberg Uzbekistan.
Since 2012, he has been Vice President of Sales in Russia at Baltika Brewing Company OJSC.
Since 2014, Evgeny Shevchenko has been appointed Director General of Carlsberg Ukraine.

Vadim Sidoruk
General Manager
DHL Express Ukraine

Vadim Sidoruk started his career at DHL Express Ukraine in 1993 as Sales representative shortly after the company enteredthe Ukrainian market.

In 1996 Vadim became Sales development manager in Ukraine, Moldova, and Belarus. Vadim has held different positions within the company since 1998, the latest being that of Sales Director in CIS and South Eastern Europe. In this role Vadim was responsible for company’s strategy development and implementation. Among Vadim’s projects was sales performance improvement, launch of new products, successful marketing programs’ realization.

Vadim was appointed to the position of General Manager of DHL Express Ukraine in 2013. He is responsible for strategic development and business administration of express-delivery service across Ukraine.

In 1986 Vadim graduated from Kiev National Linguistic University.

Екатерина Костюк

Екатерина Костюк закончила Институт международных отношений Киевского национального университета им. Т. Шевченка по специальности «Международный бизнес», после чего получила степень кандидата экономических наук в альма-матер.

Dmytro Krepak
Country Manager, Visa International (Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia)

Dmytro Krepak is leading Visa’s business in Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia as Country Manager since December 2015.

In his role, Dmytro is responsible for overall strategy setting and execution in the Ukrainian, Georgian and Armenian markets, accountable for business development targets, as well as building long-term partnerships with banks, regulators and other key stakeholders to drive the technology-payment industry and Visa agenda in respective countries.

Prior to joining Visa, Dmytro served as Chairman of the Management Board of Kredobank, subsidiary of PKO Bank Polski in Ukraine; Board Member, Head of Retail Business at First Ukrainian International Bank, SKM Group; Head of Retail Network at Raiffeisen Bank Aval. Dmytro has over 5 years of work experience in the USA and Canada with Duke Energy, leading electric utility and gas transmission company as well as Oliver Wyman strategy consulting firm.

Dmytro Krepak graduated from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Strategic Management. He also holds Master degree in International Business Development from Moscow Institute for International Relations. Dmytro is a Ukrainian citizen. He raises two daughters and two sons. .

Alexander Polyanchuk

Alexander has been a Managing Partner of Alex Polin since 2006. He manages operating activities of the company, is responsible for servicing of key customers, and also acts as a consultant on finding and attracting senior and mid-level managers.

Alexander has 12 years of experience in the field of staff recruitment and selection. During this time, he successfully implemented numerous projects on finding managers for both major Ukrainian and foreign companies. Previous experience of Alexander includes work at one of the leading recruiting companies where he was responsible for attracting clients and also worked as a consultant on the recruitment and selection of managers.
